Our story really begins with a man named Jesus who came to the world to teach us about God and to offer us the opportunity to be in relationship with God by dying on a cross for our sins. Much later a group of believers who were members of a small Christian denomination called the Moravian Church felt the call to begin new churches. As part of their vision for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in new communities and ways of “being” church they established New Hope Community Church on the Southside of Indianapolis, Indiana in the early 2000’s. We have gone through some transitions that have shown us how difficult it can be to risk for God but we have also be blessed through our journey and we continue to strive forward in ministry and mission in this place!
